Meet Bartholemew
Bartholomew is ready for pre adoption! He is a standard golden doodle and has been with us since the day he was born. He was surrendered by a breeder, because he had a cleft palate. He was tube fed, successfully and transitioned to eating and drinking normally just like any other dog. Because of his mild Cleft palate, he will need to remain on hard food, the rest of his life.
His foster family describes him as calm, gentle, and even used the word lazy, especially when its time to eat. He prefers to lay on a pillow and relax comfortably while eating his food. He is also kennel trained, and will bark or cry when he needs to be let out to use the restroom. He has a favorite toy that he loves to suckle on throughout the day and has been a dreamy foster.
He loves all people and does great with kids. His left eye is a little cloudy and has a slight visual impairment, but can also see out of it.
He is currently located in the Dallas Fort Worth area and available also in the greater Central, Texas, and greater Houston areas as well.
