Meet Champion
Meet Champion! He suffers from CH, although that doesn't slow him down! He was surrendered because he kept bullying the senior cat in the household. Champions loved sleeping with the 8 year old girl in the home. The little girl would dress him up and carry him around. Champion feels safe with carried and cuddled. He is a real sweetheart. He is around 4 years old and healthy. He must be kept indoors. He can pull himself up on the bed and does expect to sleep with you.

Cerebellar Hypoplasia, abbreviated to CH, is a disorder found in cats and dogs which causes jerky movements, tremors, and generally uncoordinated motion, just like ataxic cerebral palsy in humans. A cat with CH often falls down and has trouble walking.

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
