Nicholas is a special little guy. He was born with a birth defect that causes the left side of his jaw not to open. For him to be able to eat, we make him a puree from wet food and chicken broth which he loves and is eating very well. He has gained over a pound in his few weeks with us. Despite his little imperfection, he is happy and healthy and sweet and goofy. Because of his jaw, his tongue sticks out the majority of the time which is just darn cute. This causes a good bit of slobber and he definitely needs a little help to keep himself clean. This little boy is such a sweetheart, he will steal your heart! We are looking for an adopter or foster that is willing to puree his food in the blender, clean up after his wet food slobber and bathe him every few days.

If this kitty has not yet been spayed or neutered they may still go home if the approved adopter agrees to sign a legal contract certifying that they will take Kitty to the spay/neuter appointment.

Kitty's adoption fee covers spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age-appropriate distemper vaccines (at least 2), FeLV/FIV test, flea treatment, microchip & registration and dewormer.

We believe that kitties need a feline friend! For their health and happiness, we highly recommend that kitties be adopted in pairs. If you adopt more than one kitty, you will receive a discount of $25 per kitty. Previous adopters will receive a $25 discount on their new kitty.

If this will be your first kitty, we suggest that you check out this site for a lot of important information: Cat Adoption Checklist. People think cats are easy pets, but they are very unique and there is a lot to learn. There is a lot of information online, and you are always welcome to ask us our advice.

You'll want to make sure you have all the basic supplies before you bring a baby home: nutrious food, bowls (not plastic), litter, litter pan, litter scoop, toys, scratchers & cat trees, nail clippers and a cat carrier.
