Meet Archibald Button
Introducing Archibald Button: Archie is a 6-month-old male kitten. He came into the rescue in December of 2023, after the SPCA reached out advocating for his life. Archie had medical concerns beyond their capabilities and was at risk of euthanasia if he didn’t find rescue placement. Fishtails Animal Rescue was able to welcome him in because our super star foster Karen offered to open up her home to him.

Archie was born with a very small rectal opening, leaving him unable to pass stool normally. He has had 3 procedures done to fix this issue, and it has helped him immensely. He sometimes will have a little trouble passing his stool the whole way, and just needs some help with wiping off his little butt with a baby wipe.

Archie is an active, playful, loving little guy. He purrs as soon as you look at him. He has access to an outdoor catio, and he loves going out there to play as well. He would love to have another cat to play with and he will play endlessly with my cat Leo (a Fishtails foster, turned adoptee).

Fishtails Animal Rescue only accepts applications from those located within 75 miles of Philadelphia. The rescue does not provide transportation for any animals. Transportation is the responsibility of the adopter.
