Meet Angelina!

Angelina is about 11 months old and 33lbs.

Angelina was left outside a veterinary hospital in a cardboard box. She was found lying flat unable to move. It turned out Angelina had a bullet lodged in her spine. She was shot at close range at only 12 weeks old.

She underwent surgery to remove the bullet and stayed in the hospital to recover. She completed laser therapy and water therapy sessions. To everyone’s surprise, she was up and standing in less than a month at home!

Angelina likes to be around people, as she is a very social girl; but she also likes to have 1 on 1 introductions. She is able to walk on leash to go outside, but since she has limited flexes of her back legs, she hops around kind of like a big rabbit. She is NOT incontinent or without control of her pee/poo but will sometimes release small pee amounts if excited or startled.

Angelina is a soft sweetheart, and she likes to go to sleep near her person. She often wakes up In the morning and places her head on the bed to say “Hello I’m awake.”

She would love a home where she is the center of attention and has enough people to spoil her and love on her. Angelina would be best with older children an in a home with a yard. She will potty outside, but because of her injury she needs access to pee pads indoors too.
