NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY:

Scooter came to us after being hit by a car. Unfortunately, one leg had to be amputated and the other doesn't work. He does great in his "drag bag" or wheelchair and is super sweet and is food motivated. He can be bossy with certain dogs so he would do fine as an only dog or with another that is a good match.

Due to his injuries, we would consider someone that lives close to Arcadia and he could be forever foster meaning that he could come to our vet for all needs and the vet care would be paid for by the rescue. He can also be adopted out if someone lives farther away or would prefer to do a direct adoption. He doesn’t have any other health issues other than the paralyzed back end.

He needs to find a person/family to call his own. He is currently at our shelter waiting for a foster or forever home and would love to meet you!

At this time, we will only be able to process applications that have an excellent current vet history. If you haven’t had a pet or verifiable vet history we will not be able to process your application.
