Meet Wendell
Wendell came to Darby’s Place as an unowned friendly cat with a foot injury. He had a severe case of pillow paw on his right front foot and needed surgery on his paw. He now limps frequently because he gets stuff caught in the indentation in that paw. We’ve been unsuccessful so far in getting him to wear a boot. We think the answer for him may be living somewhere where he can have a large litter box with a pee pad in it instead of litter. He is a great cat with good manners and a quiet temperment. We love him here, but it’s not the right place for a cat with a problematic foot.
