Meet Boyd
Meet Boyd. Boyd came to us with severe injuries including a laceration on one of his legs. When the vet did X-Rays it was found that he had a healed pelvis fracture and septic arthritis in his front left elbow. It was ultimately decided it was necessary to amputate the front left leg. Boyd feels so much better now and is on a few medications to help with pain and infection. Due to the healed pelvis fracture his pelvis is narrowed so he is on a medication to help his bowel movements. He may need to be on this for a while but can be weaned off in time.

Boyd has absolutely flourished after his amputation and is ever so grateful for being saved. He has an extremely calm demeanor and loves his chin scratches. He is looking for a home that can accommodate him since he now has only three legs. He would love a calm home where he can get all the snuggles and love he so deserves.
