Meet Raisinet
Raisinet is a little dog with a BIG personality! She’s young (around 1 year old) and she weighs just under 5lbs. We are not exactly sure what happened to her prior to coming to us, but we believe she had some sort of trauma early on in life that led to her being paralyzed. But, that doesn’t stop her or slow her down!

Raisinet definitely has some spice and she’ll let you know if she’s not happy with something. Yes, she will bite so we think she should be kept away from children. Unless you hate your children. She’s pretty good with other dogs, but not perfect. She definitely has some food/treat aggression. Hopefully these behaviors will stop once she in comfortable in her environment. It must be scary being 5lbs and paralyzed!

Raisinet loves being held and hanging in a pouch. She already has a set of wheels and she’s so fast! She definitely got the hang of the wheels very quickly. When she’s not in her wheels, Raisinet will bounce on her butt/legs. It’s important to keep her dry and clean so she doesn’t develop any sores. Keeping her on soft surfaces will help.

Raisinet is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and recently had full bloodwork. She does dribble urine when picked up so accidents should be expected. She doesn’t love diapers and can easily get them off.
