Meet Ariel
**Meet Ariel: A Special Needs Dog Ready for Her Forever Home!**

Ariel is a truly remarkable dog with a heart full of love. After enduring a difficult past as an injured stray in Stockton, California, she has come to Happy Tails Happy Homes where she is now safe and surrounded by care. Found emaciated and unable to use her hind legs, Ariel has shown incredible resilience in the face of adversity.

Despite her traumatic experiences, Ariel remains the sweetest dog you could ever meet. She craves affection and loves nothing more than to be petted and held. As a special needs dog, Ariel is incontinent due to her injury and relies on a wheelchair or drag bag to get around. However, her determination to keep up with her furry friends is inspiring. She is adaptable and does well wearing diapers, making management easier for her incontinence. Ariel can be expressed for both bowel movements and urination, ensuring a smoother routine for her caregivers.

During a recent dental procedure, it was discovered that Ariel has Cushing's disease. Thankfully, with medication three times a week, her condition is well-managed, and her bloodwork shows great results. The cost of her treatment is approximately $40 a month, which is a small price to pay for the joy she brings.

Ariel is truly worth the extra effort and expense. Her loving nature brings smiles to everyone she meets, including her devoted foster mom. She loves to travel and is an excellent companion, whether in her backpack, stroller, or being carried.

If you’re looking for a loving companion who deserves a cozy home and the care she needs, consider adopting Ariel. She’s ready to share her love with a family that understands her special needs. To start the adoption process, please fill out an application at HappyTailsHappyHomes.org.

Help us give Ariel the loving home she deserves!
