From my experience with cats mising limbs or having strangely formed limbs, i would say not. Ferrets are great fun and so full of energy i imagine the little guy will just hope and wiggle his way along. you might want to read about my TwoBit, a cat who was born without hind legs who gets around fine. unfortunately i haven't recovered all my data from my computer crash, or i'd post her pict for you! but if you go to my site, link in my sig, and page down you will see her.

and WELCOME!!!!!!!!!

hope to hear how the little guy is doing and seeing picts :)

They told us that for the first week or so, the two sighted ferrets would guide the blind one all over the house; one in the front; one following behind. These two showed the new family member: all the great hidy-holes; where the litter boxes were placed; and where the toys were kept. After that, she would often beat the other two to where ever they were heading.
