Hello. I have a pekin duck who is about 2 months old. His on leg is curled up and he does not use it. There are two other ducks that I got with him and they are just fine. I had them at the vet and i was told it was a niacin deficiency. However he has not got any better. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me on how to make my little guy life any better. He eats and drinks just fine. However he hops around.

:whale: So he hops on 1 leg? I don't think I've ever heard of a duck doing that. You will want to look around this board for ideas; Pekings seem to be prone to leg problems. People have posted lots of ideas here, including ideas for PVC wheelchairs for ducks. I don't know that many of those posters come back regularly, but you can try posting to the old posts for more information, in case they have email notifications on.

What would be best help for the duck with such condition? I have no idea about to deal with handicapped animals. Will you guide me about it?

:slant: Look around this board for ideas, and you'll probably have to try several of them. People have built PVC wheelchairs for ducks and lots of other things. If you reply directly to those posts you might be able to get answers directly from the posters.
