potbelly pig front leg deformed

Post by Potbellyparade7 »

We have a potbelly female with a,shorter front leg. It is about 3 inches too short. Does have hooves but doesn't use it at all. Need a front left prosthetic solution

:whale: Hmm. There are companies that make prosthetics for critters, which might be what you have to do. For lighter critters, a homemade prosthetic might work, but I don't know about a potbelly.

You know, another possibility is to use a prosthetic company local to you. Personally, I haven't much luck with that because the guy just wouldn't get the deal done, but it's certainly worth a shot. You might even get some media coverage out of it, and it would certainly make it easier if changes in fit, etc. need to be made.

They redid their website. Now it's mobile friendly but not desktop friendly.
