Hi,
I have three ducklings 5 weeks old, one khaki Campbell and two Pekins. I am having the same problem with my Pekins, one is worse than the other. They seemed all fine, mobile and energetic two weeks ago.. then I started noticing that they were beginning to have trouble walking, their large feet pads overlap and they trip up. Now my girl Pekin ( she is quacky so I call her my girl) in the last week seems to not want to walk much or swim much. I noticed that her legs are very very bowed, her feet are together and the legs arc out like Cs, her joints are large. She also has small feathers growing on the sides of her legs. I have been feeding them Purina duck pellets since 2 weeks old which have niacin in them.
If you find out any more information about this with your ducks I would love to know..I feel so bad that my poor girl has to struggle so much to get around...

:welcome: Leah. Could it be a lack of calcium?
