Recently Paralyzed Mini Dachshund
My mini dachshund, Vali, became paralyzed Tuesday...they say she is a candidate for surgery but we just can't afford that...steroid treatment doesn't seem to be working...our options are to adjust to a paralyzed dog or put her down...I was looking for information on how to adjust...I have looked at dog carts and diapers but was wondering about what day to day life would be like...Vali is in some pain so I was wondering if this is another factor I need to consider...we love Vali and she is only 5 years old...we don't want to put her down but we also want her to have the best quality of life possible...any advice would be helpful...thanks
