please help gixxer

Post by starboy750 »

Please help!

Gixxer is my rotti, he just turned 4yrs old and has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer in his tonsils and jaw. We have gone to n.e.v.o.g.(new England veterinary oncology group) and dr. jeff philibert says with radiation therapy it could slow the growth and maybe even shrink it. Its not cureable but I’d like to buy him some time. its going to be very costly and was hoping that people would open their hearts and maybe help and donate. I’m not looking for a lot, every little bit would help, maybe even checks donated to n.e.v.o.g.-180 bear hill road suite C Waltham MA 02454 (781-684-8688) in care of gixxer, or cans dropped off at broadway citgo-343 broadway Raynham MA. Again every little bit would help. Thanks.

He's quite handsome! Make sure you read the financial aid post at the top of this forum; that's the list of financial aid options we have.

I am so sorry for gixxer's disease! Such a sweet baby, so young!
If you can, write his story, from his POV. My St.Jude's story was published in 2 newspapers, on television and he raised his own rescue $$.
Ask your vet if you can put up a can in his office. Have kids hold car washes and bake sales. Get the word out, this boy wants to LIVE.
Get him in the news. By virtue of his disease, this becomes a very poignant story.
Best of luck to you and let me know if I can help you.
Here's the 1st of Jude's many stories, to give you an idea...
