Sorry late advice

Post by Mrsc924 »

i know this advice is coming a little late but this is the exact same thing that happened to my archie. I did nothing. Talking to other vets they say the surgery is not guareenteed to work i splinted the leg thats all....and now a year later archie still has his leg and walks on it just fine only issues he has is that it is a little missed placed and some early morning pain the doctor believes to be arthritis. My new vet believes that it was the best choice for archie and he now lives a very happy still active life. If i had the money i would try the surgery but doing nothing but a splint worked out great and saved him from being euthanized.
