welcome Tiresias, our little blind foster

Blind and deaf pets can live happy, healthy, quality lives. In fact, sometimes it's hard to tell them from sighted pets. They do, though, have their own special needs.

sorry, Carolc, i didn't get the notification for a reply!
herpes is also rhinotrachitis, aka rhinovirus.
in some cases it prevents infection in some cases it limits symptoms. the vaccine does make a big difference!
and, as critters said, it is part of the usual vaccine cocktail you get at the vet or in combo vacc's. if you get the 3-way vacc it is for distemper (panleuk), calicivirus and herpes (rhino). the 4-way vacc has clamydia added and shold not be given to kittens under 7 weeks.

hope that helps!
