My blind cat caught a mouse!

Blind and deaf pets can live happy, healthy, quality lives. In fact, sometimes it's hard to tell them from sighted pets. They do, though, have their own special needs.

My blind cat caught a mouse!

Post by Soliloquy »

Yep, my elderly cat Bunky has always been a great mouser, but when she went blind last year we figured her mousing days were over. Not so... she emerged from the kitchen with one (still half alive) and deposited it next to her favorite person's chair. (It must have walked past her water dish, because she's arthritic as well and moves quite slowly.) Sadly, the younger cat is rather stupid about mice, and just stood there looking at it from a distance. Never thought it would be the old blind kitty who would completely upstage the young active one!
