Buster Sensory Mat

Blind and deaf pets can live happy, healthy, quality lives. In fact, sometimes it's hard to tell them from sighted pets. They do, though, have their own special needs.

Buster Sensory Mat

Post by JaynTinks »

I saw this video recently and found a place that stocks it in UK so thought it would make a perfect xmas present for a blind/VI dog.

(Starter Kit shown)

It comes with 2 easy and 1 intermediate activity (not all shown in video, the big one in middle is level 3 called 'Top Hat'

I bought the starter kit and the 3 Advanced level 3 puzzles so there's 6 in total. My idea is Inca can lie on mat with a single activity at a time on the mat to sniff out treats, or maybe 2 that she can easily access giving that she also has limited movement. If my young dog wants a go I can attach more of them (up to all 6 of them on most advanced level) for him to also get a good brain workout.

These are the activities available, also if you go to Krusse site (who makes it) you can download a pdf showing how to set up each activity to make it easier or harder. (or videos are available on YouTube showing each activity individually)
