Misty and Ned

Post by SandyNY »

My little Misty was killed by a person who did not like cats who can get out of the fence.
Most likey little ned (under 1 year old) was also killed by this person.
Misty was very sweet. she did some nursing home visits - but she was so mellow that residents, workers and i couldn't decide if she was scared or ok so she stopped going!
I had brought her home at a young age because her brother was seriously wild and seriously ill- she came with him to aide in his recovery.I tried to adopt them out - but her brother remained ill ( asthma like) and one day, I realized Misty is the only cat in the house who is no trouble - WHY should i get rid of her?? So she was permanent.
Her brother disappeared last August. now they are together again.
We have no idea where little ned came from. he appeared in the barn emaciated and sick last summer. he was in very bad shape back then. there was a whole special corner of my heart reserved for ned.

Oh SandyNY!!!

I am so very sorry!

The ones who don't need special care are indeed the ones who help with the others (vis-a-vis AmbrrNanaDog) and to lose that one is like losing not just your right arm, but a part of your heart.

I am so very sorry.
I went to the site, and got this:
