i will wear her. we will stay together. i will wear her to my own grave...and into it.
Somewhere below I posted a crafter who will make glass beads, then jewelry, containing ashes of a loved one. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=11777

http://memoryglass.com This place makes beautiful things for us to keep memories close. I have made a picture collage of all the fun and goofy pictures of Jack and set it up by his urn in my bedroom. I have the same for my Kodi. And made one for my sons first little heart dog, Oreo. If you look online, there is a place that can engrave a pic that you send them onto the urn. I find it hard to come back here and see everyone talking about their babies and mine is gone. But I know you all care and I also feel at home here. I have just started fostering a little black chow/shephard mix named Angel, and she is sweet. I think I'll keep her. I look forward to the time we all meet at the bridge and have a big old reunion!!

Thanks for the information. It is nice to see you back here. One never replaces another in your heart, but they surely do their best to snuggle in there with your other one, don't they?

Thank you, Tessa. I can use all the good thoughts I can get. I go from having a normal day and wondering how I can do that, to being grateful that I do not have to worry about her in this cold weather we are having, to seeing her sweet face and remembering how it felt to carry her in my arms like a big baby. The other day, I got out the muzzle we used when she got her nails clipped and put it up to my face, just so I could smell her. This hurts more than I thought it ever could.

Christine, we are so much on the same page, and when you see our dates I am almost a month "ahead' of you.........
Every day I come home I still expect him to see behind the door and hope a miracle happened.
I too smell his collar, his toys.
I have one of his pictures near the dining table, so every time we eat he looks at us.
He was so depended on me and now he is on his own.
I miss him dearly!

Christine,i didnt realize it was recent you lost your furbaby.
This journey for georgia was your baby's way of saying mom,I'm watching over you .
I too lost a furbaby in june,it hurts so bad.
I try ,to think of all the cute things my baby did,but it is still a hard task.
So sorry for your loss, and hope your heart mends a bit soon. nez

Thanks, Nez. Bailey certainly played a bigger part in this than any of us know. I am so glad you have joined us here. You are our kind of people and you will receive a lot of help with your little one. :grouph: :grouph:
