We've been thinking of you all day

Mom wishes she could just drive down and be with you and give you real hugs and another shoulder to cry on.

I'm pretty sure that Possum was the dog that mom met when she went to visit you, and she got along so well with.

the greatest gift is always the hardest to give.
Possum is pain free now, even as you are overwhelmed.

*purrrrrs*

Oh Karen! How very sad I am tonight for you & Christine. I've been away helping my mom with her mini aussie who had an inoperable liver tumor. She ate rat poison last month & we got her thru that. Then she got sick last Thursday & passed very early Friday morning. So have had my hands full helping my mom thru this.
You & Christine were Possum's angels & she knew it! As you said, she is now free of the pain & demons that tormented her. But right now all you feel is the pain. I have read everything you had posted on Possum & prayed that you would find something that would help her. I wish I could somehow reach out to you & hug you & help ease your pain.
Prayers & hugs to you & Christine & baby Possum
Much love,
Beth

Karen has requested that I post, here, on Possum's thread that two of the most important people in her life and the lives of the her deafblindfamily have left this earth to continue their work at the Rainbow Bridge with Andy. Two people who shared her vision and her heart for the cause of the lethal whites, Christy Mullady, her cousin and the author of the deaf blind primer died New Years Eve, 2010 and Donna, a trusted friend and loyal support for LWAR died on June 6, 2011. Their spirit remains in the hearts of the LWAR family and lights the path to the Rainbow Bridge. :candle:

Christy was a member here and a great person. She will always be missed. I didn't know Donna but her work to make the world a better place will live on after her. Karen, I know you are still breaking down barriers for these dogs today, "good on you" as we say in the South. :trophy: :D
