Sasha's 1 year Anniversary

Post by tinklebell »

HI Guys

Unsure if you can recall me. Had posted several pages under "Amputation" last year regarding my dog, Sasha on the battle she had regarding a complicated and unknown disease. They finally found out it was lymphoid leukemia.

21 Aug 2009 will mark the 1st year since she's gone over the rainbow bridge. I dropped by to the florist earlier, to get some white lillies to place at home and a stalk of yellow gerbera which I will be placing at the spot where we laid her to rest.

I miss her still..

Christine, I still have the rainbow bridge photo placed in my living room. It's there since the day she went till now.

Just a little note to convey my deepest thanks and appreciation once again to all who've given me tremendous support and encouragement during those difficult times.

Sincerely

tinklebell, I sure do remember Sasha. I cannot believe it's been a year. Your love will never die. It is a beautiful thing. Thank you for this walk down memory lane & love.

We'll never forget your sweet girl. Puremutt, Karen, Carol and I are all coming up on one year anniversaries too. We are right here with you. The time they spent with us should have been an eternity and their leaving us was just yesterday; the love we have for them will last forever.

Yep, sept 26 for me, there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss him.
There was so much joy in the house, I hope another dog with the same soul will find me one day.
It's nice to be amongst people here who REALLY understand.

Thanks guys. We brought Marco to the spot where Sasha rested last weekend. It was a beautiful and tranquil evening.

Have attached a pic of him. He's turning one this Satuday and is still growing :D
