I LOVE that picture! I can just hear her making that same sound that Scooby Do does. What a sweet silly look on her face...it does make you smile.

O.M.G. !!! I LOVE THAT PICTURE! She may be my next desktop! One of Debbie-Spain's pup's was for a long time.
I have Andy's Ashes right next to my computer at home. A little 'shrine' with his pics, some statuary & etc. A Kanji vase.
I love having ashes. St.Jude & Possum are buried in my front yard, which is also very nice. Told my cousin Chris, she's going to have to dig a really big hole for me!

six months now since xena passed.
i cannot wipe her from mind. i cannot finish wiping the tears from my eyes. they seem so endless.
but the raw ache of it is slowly subsiding.

i spoke to someone yesterday about xena's medical history.
her name was, ironically, amy. she's doing research on the benefits of amputation and chemo in dogs with osteosarcoma.
sounds like xena's outcome was exceptionally good and she was surprised to hear about it. also suprised to hear of this place.
maybe xena will still go on to change a few lives and influence a few decisions that others are facing.
i hope i'll get to hear the outcome of the research.

I am convinced that our pets that went over the rainbow are still active here helping others, look at us we were still here even though our pets passed their experiences help others and that is very rewarding.
It took a year and 4 mo before we adopted our new pup, Mickey will always be my no 1 .
In a way it is comforting to have a dog around, a lot of things are familiar, I think we did the right thing.

it's been 8 years since Legume died and it still hurts soemtiems. but his story has helped many other cats, inlcuding Debbie Spain's Kat, she wrote me when she found bendy's website and found 'Gumies story. it made me realize how worthwhile the experience was, not just for him but for how it could help others.

I owuld think Xena's story will be an inspiration to many.

I know, without a doubt, that Xena's story and her courage helped many facing amputation and/or cancer. She is a major part of this wonderful puzzle Mark created to bring us together as a family to heal our animals and to heal our own hearts.
