Oscar

Post by bernieshouse »

About 4 years ago I adopted a handicapped pet from the local shelter. He was named One-Eyed Jack. I renamed his Oscar and he was such a good boy. Oscar was actually much older than we originally thought (he was about 17 years old) and he had hyperthyroidism. He lived with that for about 2.5 years. About a week ago he developed a blood clot, saddle thrombus, and he was seen by 3 vets. They could not do anything for him and he was suffering greatly. To end his suffering, I had him humanely euthanized on Monday, December 3rd. I miss him so much and I am grateful for the time I had with him.

RIP Oscar

Oh, I remember Oscar. He is a beautiful boy. I am glad he got to share his last years with you. I am sorry for your loss.
