Sighs. Goodbye, Lonely. I'm glad we got to be friends.

Lonely was suurenderd to a high kill shelter at the age of 10, reason unknown. Mom said of course she was welcome here, she came along with Dolly several months ago.

Lonely was a pretty black kitty with one white whisker, just like our Baby has!

She was fearful of new people and tried to bite mom once, but mom just patted her and said "no reason for that now."
Soon they were friends. Lonely never really cared for other cats much, but would come out to say hello to mom and get her scritches.

She didn't eat much ever, but she started eating less. she developed hind end instability. Mom had the rescue's vet look at her yesterday and the worst was confirmed.
Lonely not only had heart trouble and was having clotting in her hind legs, but the xray also showed a large mass in her chest, probably on her liver. She was already jaundiced.
Mom wished she could be there, but she couldn't. She had dropped off several cats to be seen, so Lonely had to leave without her. Another foster mom was there, tho, and had called mom and said they didn't want to do anything before telling her. Mom asked that lady to say goodbye to Lonely for her.

We will miss her, we are glad that at least her last memories are of being in a house where she was cared for instead of a shelter whrere she was afraid.
Mom is also sad that she never got a better picture of Lonely. We have one of her hiding in her crate, her eyes huge. She was a sweet girl.

Poor little old girl. Bendys and Bendy Mamas just can't catch a break these days, can they? I'm sorry for your loss.

Poor Little Lonely. Thank goodness she had you Bendy, to welcome her and to give her a safe place. I am so sorry for your continued losses... Tears for you all today.
