Cats with cerebellar hypoplasia can learn to walk, although they may have a wobbly gait or struggle with balance. Cerebellar hypoplasia is a condition where the cerebellum, which controls coordination and balance, is underdeveloped at birth. This can lead to difficulties with walking, jumping, and other movements.
However, with time and practice, many cats with cerebellar hypoplasia can improve their motor skills and learn to navigate their environment more effectively. It's important to provide a safe and secure environment for cats with cerebellar hypoplasia, as they may be more prone to falls or other accidents.
Additionally, regular veterinary care and monitoring can help ensure that any potential health issues related to the condition are addressed promptly.
