Styrofoam keeps quadriplegic dog's head above water in UW treadmill

Post by CarolC »

Found a video of a dog recovering from quadriplegia, floating in the underwater treadmill. They've taken a 1" thick piece of styrofoam maybe 18" x 18" and notched one side. They are putting it under his chin and neck so his face stays above water. :smart: It's also working as an eating tray when they put treats on it.

Here it looks like they put a flotation vest on the dog, then took 2 more floatation vests and put them on upside down, again to keep the dog's face up out of the water.
