Ornaments featuring Wheelchair dogs

Post by Bobbie »

I did a few ornaments in the Cafepress shops.

Woody decked out for Christmas:

Guido celebrating the snow:
http://www.cafepress.com/WheelcorgisAlt.334043610

and a bunch more at http://www.cafepress.com/dogsonwheels

All of my profits go to CorgiAid.

I've branched out a bit from corgis and from wheels so if anyone else particularly wants to see their handicapped pet on an ornament, and you can email me a good-enough photo, I can try. No obligation to buy but I do want to be able to leave your photo up in the shop as long as it is active. Email me at carts@corgiaid.org

And they already did their job... a person on Corgi-L, with a corgi down in the back, didn't know about carts! And now she does, and hopefully will be looking into getting one.

Yes, Paul gave me permission to use him. I may redo that one, though, as it is harder to tell he is in a cart. But the photo doesn't have the whole cart in it so I couldn't just have it without the wreath. I edited my link... I'm glad you figured out how to get to it! I want to do another one on the oval with a big dog but need to ask someone if I can use their picture, and it has to be the right sort of photo- oval is harder to do. Or I could go take a photo of my neighbor's GSD in her cart.

I am looking for some more good photos of dogs in carts (or possibility other pets or other disabilities) to use on ornaments, so if you have something you think might work well please email it to me at barbaram (at) csufresno.edu

Photos should have clean backgrounds or be able to have the background hidden under a wreath (as in Pedro's.)

Here is the one Bobbie did of Katie. I can't wait to hang it on the tree! (They are porcelain.)

How did you manage to download the image? I can't do it!

It looks good; on the site it looks too dark but I think that's the colors they use.. this is more what I put in.

Never mind, I figured the image out.

Cyber Monday Special: free shipping on all items, Code FEMHOL14, Dec 1 only!

Save at least $5 (minimum shipping charge) no matter what you order!

http://www.cafepress.com/dogsonwheels

With a good photo, I should be able to get your ornament ready in time for this offer if I get it at least a few hours before the offer expires.

I don't know.

Probably through December and then I'm not sure, maybe only until December 18 when I leave for Washington (and a slow internet connection.)

I did start doing ones on "regular" dogs for people- I do them if I have time after the disabled dogs ornaments and they cost more ($9.99 or $10.99 with a name-since I know no one else will buy a named one.) Right now just corgis are listed but I could do others. Time is the limit so if I get a rush of requests they might not all be met.
