No longer needed. Thanks!

Post by Sasha's Mom »

Will be relocating from Europe to New York and am looking to borrow two Sky Kennels for about 2 months (likely less time). Preferably need one small and one medium sized or if nothing else, two small. A friend in Amityville, NY will ship them to me in Bulgaria and when I return stateside, will ship back from New York. I have two carriers now, but can not use them on the flight as they are not approved for air travel.

These kennels are airline approved for international flights.

Thank you.

Shipping x2 is generally more $$ than purchase. Contact your local shelters and humanes and see if they have a couple you could have. I have gotten MANY kennels dog and cat size at our local landfill. I also get them for cheap at thrift. I am not at all familiar with Europe, bu timagine there are many of the same resources? I had a kennel from a transport for months.Driver #6 had a convertible and I was stuck with the thing, with the rescue demanding I find a way to get it back to them. I told them, it's on my porch. Come and get it. I had shopped shipping and we were looking at upwards of $80. AND I would have to get it to the shipper, packed for shipping. I will never let myself be held hostage by a kennel again :) The next driver on all my legs, I make sure even when the dog is on a leash, that they can fit a kennel because the dog may come with one. The long and short is shipping kennels is a headache and a half.

If the kennels had been availble here, believe me, I would have bought them.
Wound up just buying them and having them shipped from the US.
