PLEASE HELP PRECIOUS (BICHON)...NEEDS KNEE SURGERY!

Post by lovemydog »

MY 4 YEAR OLD BICHON, PRECIOUS, WAS RUNNING AND INJURED HER KNEE. NOW SHE IS UNABLE TO WALK ON A FOUR LEGS AND IS LIMPING AND IN PAIN. (SHE IS ON PAIN MEDS UNTIL WE CAN AFFORD HER SURGERY) I AM DISABLED AND HAVE PET INSURANCE THROUGH BANFIELD BUT THE INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER ALL OF PRECIOUS' SURGERY. SHE HAS TORN HER MENISCUS AND NEEDS KNEE SURGERY. SHE NEEDS $1,000 FOR HER SURGERY...SO FAR I HAVE $200.00. PAYMENTS CAN BE SENT TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT UNDER DESIGNISTACROCHET@YAHOO.COM OR YOU CAN SEND THE MONEY TO THE BANFIELD HOSPITAL (UNIVERSITY LOCATION) IN CHARLOTTE, NC (704 599-3488). THEY CAN VERIFY THAT PRECIOUS COOK NEEDS SURGERY AND ; AND WE ARE TRYING DESPEARTLY TO SAVE UP FOR IT. IN THE MEANTIME, IT REALLY HURTS TO SEE HER LIMPING AND UNCOMFORTABLE. THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS~

I'm curious as to how much Banfield will cover (and what did they promise you when you bought the insurance?)

When I first took Precious, I was quoted $4,000...which included $2,000 for a mri. They were going to send Precious to an orthopedic specialist. Banfield hospital gave us an appointment with the owner and lead vet of the hospital and he said that he would do the surgery for $1,000.00...without my insurance it would have been $1400.00. This is Precious' second surgery. I had to pay $1200 for her to have urinary stone surgery...that was an emergency so I pawned my engagement ring to pay for the surgery. This time...I truly do not have the money and she is really uncomfortable. As I said, anyone can call the banfield hospital in the university area of Charlotte NC and they can verify everything that I am saying. Take care and God Bless!
