a friend of mom's sent her a link and an idea. apparently human head fur can bring in some big tunas. Mom has very long, thick, headfur. She was looking at the hair trading site and thought it might be an interesting fundraising idea.
Human valets could post picts of themselves w/their long hair and if it sells, then post new picts of them w/cut hair.
To mom cutting her hair is a BIG deal, she normally only cuts it when someone/fur she loves passes away. But I said to her 'mom, its ok to cut your headfur to help those of us still here.' and she said 'what a smart little bendy you are! you are quite right.'
Where the funds would go...
I think since people would be donating body parts, they should decide where the tunas should go. I know we all have our favorite rescue people/places we like to help.
It could be fun to see whose hair gets sold first, or who can grow theirs the most in a year after cutting. Human headfur is a renewable resource!
