...or as my husband says "The Tashma Hall". Thought you might like to see how she spends her days while I am at work. Anyone else care to share? I am getting ready to turn our livingroom into her nighttime fortress and go to bed. We'll share that one later!

What a lucky dog!
I am also experimenting with pillows so that he can get up by himself and there is no falling out of his bolsterbeds.
We are getting creative with every problem we encounter. They deserve it, they are so depended on us and they never anticipated to be physically dependant.

mmmmmmm, so this is where i was invited to stay to get well? wheeeee if only. lol. oh to be pampered by you and family. lol.
but gotta tell ya, i really thought cricket was spoiled, nope not anymore. lol. you are sooooooo smart to come up with all that pal. but cricket wouldn't go for outdoor life i am afraid. he is scared of dark some. see i have touch lamp close to bed and he wakes me up touching it on when he wants light. lol. you don't even want such a brat around bailey. lol
loved the pic's and your home is lovely. i went to your site, do you make all those crafts? i am green with envy.
tell bailey i think he is so blessed to have such a wonderful and talented mom.
oh by the way, watch the heat, i learned my lesson. lol gosh the south feels like it's on fire lately huh?
humidity is terrible, we are looking for 100's all week mostly.
sending doggie kisses and hugssssssssssssss to all,
connie and cricket

Critters: Hillbilly fly deterrent is water in a plastic bag. Don't know why, but it works.

Connie: Thanks for the compliments. Yep, I make all that stuff and wish I could still stay home and do just that, but can't afford my own medical benefits or Bailey's that way.

Puremutt: Bailey lays on flat padded surfaces as a bolster bed would just be a problem for her. I gave up on dog beds more than a year ago. Now, we just pad potential bump your head areas.

Fort is constructed...mom is pooped...night all!

You have the loveliest home. Have you thought of doing bed and breakfast? Katie and I want to book a reservation.

This is the first time I've really been able to see Bailey's size and Christine, she's bigger than I realized. She's a full medium dog, good thing you stay in shape. If we had a water bowl in the living room, it would be tipped over in no time and my dog would ruin the rug because he drools water when he walks away from the bowl. Bailey must be dainty with her water. We have the water bowl in the kitchen by the fridge and even with rugs down the parquet floor is getting ruined. :( Bailey has the life. It must be so comforting for her to go to sleep in a room with so much atmosphere. You are an angel.

Connie, Cricket is way too smart if he has figured out how to turn on the lamp!

Hi Christine - Bailey's camp looks awesome, I told Connie she should take you up on that offer! You are absolutely ingenius - where there's a will there's a way! Did you make the quilt that is on your couch? It's beautiful, love the colours!
Wish Harley and I could come camp out or B&B at your place. :D Cheers, Jane

Hi Jane,
No, I did not make that quilt - tried quilting and it is way above my head! Got this out of the Penney's Catalog and bought a dog bed for Bailey to match. It is big and fluffy she really can't use it, so it is used as part of her night fort and a tv pillow.

Bailey's Bed and Breakfast is open and welcomes my HP family!

What kind of padding do you use now instead of bedding, you made me think of this now, since he has sometimes hard times to get up from his bed or he falls out.
His beds are very soft, I put wee wee pads inside and on top plus a towel.
