This book is for children. It is full of beautiful photos of how they made an artificial tail for the dolphin who is missing her tail.

There are lots of dogs--all shapes and sizes--at the Rescue Center. But Kate and her mom and dad know they want Dave the moment they see him. He's small and he's cute and he's a perfect fit for the end of Kate's bed. In fact, Dave is everything a puppy could be.

But then they see old and gray and broad-as-a-table Rosy...

Wow! His legs were backward and crisscrossed, I didn't realize they did such a surgery. :D
