My mom's foster dad has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
She will be leaving all of us in the care of a number of trusted hands and going up to stay with her fosterparents to help them out. Not sure when she will be leaving, prolly still has a week or two yet. We will see.

I am sorry for him and for his family. Your mom knows more than most people about quality of life, medical care, and end of life. It will help her make the best of the situation. Wish she could have a nanny cam to keep an eye on you guys, as I know she'll miss you.

Daddys are special to their girls. Losing mine to cancer was horrible & I will always miss him, but I was there every day. My sincere sympathy, you'll be a great help & comfort to them...
