just wanted to share this. my 90 yr old mother is bedfast in nursing home. i take her fur baby Roscoe every 2 weeks for a 4 hr visit. they have grieved for each other so bad. he stays right in her arms for the whole visit.. i believe this is why she hangs on. their love for each other is amazing to see. i am so glad nursing homes allows this, it gives elderly reason to live and so much happiness.
