Wal-Mart $4 meds

I was just surprised to see lactulose syrup on the $4 list, been paying WAY too much.

Other familiar meds (do not know if they are the right size or formulation for pets) include prednisone, chlorhexidine, spironolactone, furosemide, enalapril, famotidine, cimetidine, benazapril, amoxicillin, and meloxicam.

Also check local drug stores if they have a similar deal. Our local store here has Keppra (generic) on the $4 prescription list which cost me 1/3 what it did at Costco Online pharmacy (which is often cheaper than anywhere else). It's not on any of the chain pharmacy lists- which worries me as the store was just bought by a chain, i think. (Back to Costco if it goes off the cheap prescription list.) Target and CVS have the $4 prescriptions, too.
