The palatable formula makes Kristalose easy to administer -- just sprinkle the recommended dosage on your cat’s food.

Didn't know there was such a thing. Don't know about having it in packets though, a bottle you could spoon out of would be better. I'm still using Miralax for my two kitties.

Oh, they have a website. Looks like it's still through a pharmacist.

Equivalent to 15 ml (1 tbsp or 3 tsp) of liquid lactulose
This site says 3/4 tsp of crystals every 12 hrs, that's kind of a lot compared to Miralax

Apparently lactulose is safe for kittens, but I can't find anything on whether Miralax is or not. It would be great to just stir it into the canned food instead of having to syringe it into your kitty's mouth twice a day and deal with the goopy bottle. I got some lactulose syrup on the knee of my jeans and it dried, then it didn't come out in the wash and I literally wore out the jeans with many washings and dryings and it was still there. We also got some on the carpet and it was like super glue. Think I finally got it out with alcohol.

Weird that lactulose was SO durable!! LOL'

If Miralax works, I'd stay with it. There's a lot to be said for not needing a script to get it, too!
