They look like bed sheet grippers or something like that. I was just looking at Amazon. The bed sheet grippers are 7"-10". Mitten keepers are 5". I guess it will depend on the size of your pet, and how high the diaper comes up, but I bet you could use mitten keepers because where you fasten the top (on the little sweater) is up to you. I think they have bed sheet grippers at the 99 cent store, but the mitten keepers come in 9 different colors and a pack of 18 is $13. Both kinds are elastic.
