Paw

Post by CharlieTib »

I will give paw
I want to have you in awe.
I will lay my head on you,
You give me such bliss.
Pat my head,rub my ear,
I can even give a kiss.

Im sorry I have once bit,
please do not hit.

You grab a leash,
I spin in glee.
I do love a walk,
Oh you take me to the car.
I do love a ride.
To hang my head out the window and just smile.
My tail wags and you laugh.
That makes my day.

You take me out of the car,
Im sorry Im excited ,you give a tug.
You walk me into a big building.
I look to you.
You are my idol,my friend,my trusted owner.
You pass my leash to another and follow me to a room.
You kiss my nose and drop a tear.
I feel a small prick.
My last thought Im sorry I had bit.

my hubby adopts dogs and its hard with them sometimes ,but Im happy he and many others save them. Keep other dogs or.. any pet from a fate like this. I know this isnt really a handicapped poem but ... handicapped or not animals deserve life, not death.

Keep up the good work.. Jojo,Willy,Chopchop,Riley and Kebo thank you also and all give their paw.

A good poem. Sad, but good. That is why we do what we do. Of course, I am biased, because that was my wife that wrote it!
