Hi everyone. A couple of weeks ago, I was interviewed by Channel 7 news out of Boston regarding Johanna. Well, next Wednesday August 16th the story will be airing on the 11PM news. If you live in the Boston area, great! If not, then I will try to post the story online so everyone can see it. I assume that Mark will also post it on the handicappedpets site as well. Hopefully many people will see Johanna and will set out to help more handicapped pets out there. She certainly is an inspirational girl!

I certainly will, if I can. It might just be posted on the site, so I may not have to do that.

Paul,

That is great news for your pet family and ALL handicapped pets! We're all so proud of you.

I always thought that your 5 pets (2 paralyzed) would make a great Reader's Digest story. The pic of you and the 5 fur kids is wonderful. Since you like to write, ever think of submitting something?

Dianne

I never thought of Readers Digest, but I will certainly submit a story to them. Thanks for the suggestion!

paul,
how wonderful. oh i wish we all could see it. those who do, i hope they get the message, that our furkids can be saved and live a full happy life. i am thinkin of letting our newspaper and maybe tv. station do a human interest story on cricket and how he has overcome so much in his short doggie life. cricket was PET OF THE WEEK" in our paper, photo and part of his story. i got lots of comments on it. mostly>>how do you take care of him? >i couldn't do that. well where there is love, there is hope i believe. your kids are gorgeous, loves the smiles on the faces. lol
i hope mark can get it posted somewhere on here for all to see.
hugs,
connie and cricket

Johanna's story will air tomorrow night on the 11PM
news on Channel 7 in Boston. If you are like me and
can not watch the live broadcast, then on Thursday log
onto www.whdh.com and look for "lifesaving link". It
will be under special assignments. You can watch it
online! Special thanks to Christina Mattingly who did
the interview.
Thank you!
