16 Yr. Old Collie Mix

Post by PawShow »

my 16 yr. old Nikki Dog's back legs are almost totally useless. She has been standing, and walking a couple feet here and there.. for the last couple of months, but after health issues her condition worsens.
I'm thinking of getting rear wheels for her, (hopefully front legs can hold weight), a lot of people think I should put her to sleep. She's been costing me a bundle in vet bills, but she's still here..and I think getting some wheels would lift her spirits.
COST: of course is an issue.. do people sell used models? or is renting a better option?
thanks,
JADonnelly

Nikki is beautiful and reminds me of my Bailey who had back leg weakness at the end of her life. I kept a Lift and Assist Harnass on her which allowed me to help her to her feet and support her when she needed to squat.

Here is some good information about the commercial carts:

Here are plans to make your own:

Check our classified for used carts and, of course, ebay, etc.
