We went Saturday mornign for Jasmine's recheck with her vet and she said she is doing very well and imporoving each time she sees but the best news is that when she tested her for deep pain response Jasmine reacted to her on both back paws she turned and looked at her and pulled her back legs away, Vet said the last time that she thought it had come back in her right paw but not in the left but this time she got a reaction out of both.

They discovered deep pain at 149 days (almost 5 months) and by 6 months she still could not urinate but she could help me when I expressed her. At 9 months she was taking her first steps, and eventually she became able to walk 1/4 mile, which is a long way for a small dog.

He has some muscle tone due to involuntary kicking and now- after seven years- has recovered deep pain, but he isn't likely to ever walk again without a cart.
