wheelchair needed for 6 yr old german shepard

Post by danteman »

In March of this year our German Shepard Dante, 6 yrs old had a spinal stroke ( fce) that affected his rear legs. Both his parents are champions. So we were shocked after he had an ACL operation. We spent a lot of money on people who claimed "we will help him walk again", the only thing we got for their "help" was the bills...We finally found the right rehab and vet and will not give up on him, simply because he would NEVER give up on us..He is making progress very slowly. He is truly special in every way. He has an fantastic amount of energy and has been a great patient with a great attitude. The wear and tear both mentally and physically for us does takes it's toll. We are looking for a wheel chair for him. He is 72 pounds (smaller german shepard...german blood line ). Maybe a used wheel chair that is in excellent condition if the cost is right. Once he walks again, he and us are determined to get him to do so... we would pay it forward with another owner that needs help. Dante thanks you as do we.

Hi,

It sounds like your dog could benefit from a wheelchair. We do have a few used Large Reinforced Frames that we could give you a discount. Please call our office at 888-811-7387. Thanks, Nancy :D
