The kibbles are flatter, so maybe they will be easier to chew. It looks darker and smells stronger. I'm going to have to mix it with the old bag. The dogs ate it when I gave it as treats, but the gal at the vet said a number of people have called saying their dog wouldn't eat it. Wish they would just leave it the way it was. Actually I wish they would leave it the way it was back in the 90's when the kibbles were even smaller and you could buy a 4 lb bag, they've changed it at least twice since then. If there is any change in Dolly's stools, I will let you know. If it doesn't work for that, they're going to hear from me!

Just to follow up, I've been giving Dolly half and half old formula w/d and new formula w/d and there is no change in her stool quality, still just as good.

Apparently they don't belong to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" school of thought.
