How to get a heavy paralyzed pit bull down the stairs...

Post by CarolC »

Amazing Italian man, apparently a mountain climber. He has a large paralyzed pit bull and he lives in a 3rd floor apartment. He puts the dog in an mountaineering harness and lowers the dog down to ground level with a winch on his balcony. At the bottom he lowers the dog into a wheelchair. He takes the dog for a walk. He rolls the dog over the grate of the storm drain and expresses his bladder. He takes the dog home, puts the mountain harness back on and hoists him back up to the apartment. Too amazing for words...

Pretty impressive, especially how calm that dog stays as he is lowered down! I like how he expresses him over the grate, though I guess he hasn't read the Seattle papers about dogs being electrocuted on grates. (Near power poles with shorts.)
