I've seen similar things, and I know people use them for blind dogs, but my friend's blind dog uses his nose to feel his way around. He would be "blind" if he had a hoop keeping his nose from touching (lightly) objects in his way. I just have my doubts that this is the way to go for a blind dog. Their nose and the touch of their nose is about the most sensitive thing they have to find their way.

I think you might be right, or at least for some dogs if not all. This might be best for the ones who go crashing through life at full tilt. lol!
