I had to make sock-booties for our pup Jaida who used to scrape her front leg (which had a club-foot deformity). I posted a little "how-too" for making baby sock boots for her on our blog (http://jaidasjourney.blogspot.ca in April I think)...they stayed on pretty well for her, and she is very active. They were cheap and easy to make. Something like them might help?
