HARLEY'S Latest Update

Thanks to Carol for suggesting I update everyone on Harley's Addisons - he had another "mini" crash. Once the initial dose of Prednisone was finished which was really boosting the Flurinef to keep him stable he bottomed out but luckily I could get him into the vet right away. They have upped the dosage, and put him back on the Pred for another short run of it. He goes back in for testing the electrolytes on the 21st of May. We are really hoping that 2 tabs of Flurinef every 12 hours will be enough - it can get expensive. Not that I'm complaining - I like most of you will do without for my 'baby boy' The vet did say it can be a challenge to find the right dosage, so time will tell.

OMGosh! What a little man! You just want to HUG him! He looks so serious. Is he serious?

Serious absolutely not - funny, comical and a bit strange yes! The photo was taken at the beach with a very active chipmunk driving him crazy therefore, the intent look to his eye! He is quite the character, an absolute snuggle bug. Today, returning with the groceries, I caught him snooping through each bag until he found his new toy! He inspected each bag as I was carrying them in from the car. Hence the name Monkey boy!!!
